Created for More
An explosion! Slowly over millions of years. That is what our world and our culture want us to believe. That we randomly happened by chance. By an explosion no less. Can you think of any other explosion that can create beauty and intelligent design?
If evolution really explains how we got here then we have no purpose for our lives. If it’s survival of the fittest then why would we care for one another? What are we here for? Who are we? Evolution and the culture we live in and the schools we send our kids to teach us life was an accident. We grow up believing a fairy tale far from the truth.
Yes, I believe in The Creator. It cannot be denied. As Ray Comfort explains, “A painting needs a painter. A building needs a builder. And creation needs a Creator.” The Bible answers all these unknowns for us where as Evolution is only silent.
The truth is very amazing and is a complete opposite of what the world and evolution teaches. We were created. And what makes us different from all other creation is that we were made in the image of God. That’s why people no matter what stage of development we are at are important. That is why we have value.
Friend, you are important to Elohim, God Mighty Creator, he created you on purpose and with purpose. He gifted you with strengths and talents to accomplish your purpose. There is a quote that says, “God’s gift to us is potential and our gift to God is developing it.” It is up to you and I to develop ourselves to do the best we can do and be the best we can be and create the best we can create.
You were created for more than just being a name of someone who went to school, got a job, had a family, retired and lived 90 years and died.
What will be your legacy? What will your tombstone read? Who will remember you and for what? Will your great great great great grandchildren know your name? I heard it said recently that most people don’t even know their great grandparents name. Will yours?
We all have undeveloped potential. We all have room to grow. We all desire to be more and for good reason, we were made that way. We were made to create just like our Creator. We create life! We create beauty. What are you creating? What are you doing with the one life you were given? Are you walking in your purpose?
