Do Men Need More Courage?

I dedicate this post to my courageous husband this Father’s Day. Yannick, you amaze me daily! Courage is not the absence of fear. I really think Eddie Rickenbacker said it perfectly, “Courage is doing what you are afraid to do. In order to be courageous you have to be scared.”  A Great Man will work hard all day and then come home and play with his kids and help his wife with the daily responsibilities of being parents before taking personal time to himself. He finds a way to provide for his family and without hesitation would lay his life down to protect them.  Many of these men didn’t have a model father to replicate. Yet, being scared of not knowing how to love his wife to the full extent he desires and not knowing how to connect with his children and convey his deepest feelings for them, he still pursues.  There is fear of not being enough.
